Phone number search

One of Getcontact’s most helpful features is a caller ID lookup, and you can use this feature just as easily from your computer through Getcontact Web as from the Getcontact app on your phone. You can either pull up the number on your call history, or plug the number into Getcontact’s search feature. When you run a search on a number, you’ll be able to see if the number has been reported as a spam or fraudulent caller.

In addition to looking up a phone number from the Getcontact app on your phone, you can also use the Getcontact Bot on Telegram. Simply pull up Telegram and search for Getcontact. @Getcontact_Officialbot will come up and in the conversation you can enter a phone number to search.

 How to block a number

Getcontact offers numerous other features through the Getcontact app, including spam and call blocking. Blocking a specific number from calling your phone can be done through the Getcontact app. Pull up the number, either from call history, contacts or by searching for it, and then click block. This number will no longer be able to call you.

If you don’t have a specific number you’d like to block but you’d like to block spam calls in general, this is also made easy with the Getcontact app. On an Android device, spam blocking gets blocked as soon as you download the Getcontact app, as long as you give the app permission to do so. On an iOS device, open up the Getcontact app and click “Enable Protection” on the bottom menu. From now on Getcontact will filter out all calls its algorithm has deemed “spam.”
